(1) How prevalent were the wider tires seen in some photos of Schwimmwagen?

(2) Who makes a good set of wide tires/wheels for the new Tamiya Schwimm? MR Models makes a set, but the photos I've seen of them aren't very useful. Has anyone used them?

(3) What are good sources of historical photos for this vehicle? (I already have the two Schiffer VW at War books.)
