Did the Sd.Kfz. 253 ever get fitted as standard with a frame aerial as the Sd.Kfz. 250/3 was? There is a dramatic photograph of a DAK Sd.Kfz. 253 taken at a low angle from the front that showing a frame aerial fitted. Was this a field modification? I haven't seen one fitted in any other photograph.
Is one provided in the DML Sd.Kfz. 253 kit?
