Ambush schemes started in Mid October 44 and ran through Dec44. THe later "Octopus" and Clouded patterns are derived from that scheme. There was also a very late scheme that incorporated red brown and/or green over dark yellow then folowed by a patern of "Dots" grouped closely together in "Clouds". This was common on final production Stug 4s and some other SPs.
