George,
As you mention, they are pretty similar. The H-35 tracks appear to have triangular teeth, whereas the R-35 track are flatter. Also, the R-35 tracks have more of a S-shaped profile than do the H-35 tracks. You can find some pretty good reference photos and drawings at the following site:
