So, this could perhaps be classified as a wtf kind of question but, it is important to the diorama im building. What I need to know is how the German Ortsschilder looked like during the 1940īs. After living there, when you reach the boundaries of cities (i.e. Berlin) you have a signpost with a yellow sign with "Berlin" written in it, and when you leave, you have the same yellow sign, with a red strike through Berlin to denote that youre leaving the city, town etc. was this the same during WW2? Or were the signs more like the French ones which were, as it appears to me, made out of concrete and such. Any help would be appreciated!
