| Hi all while searching one subjecti cam across this interesting photos on Australianwar Memorial site ref no 075499, it shows 32 tanks off loaded from a libery ship Norman D colman on 23-8-44 . Information with photo says 32 tanks offloaded , included 3 shermans 3 churhills and rest for 2/4th Armoured regiment. Shermans and Churchills are for trails in Jungle . The place is Madang New Guinea , hope ome one finds this of interest cheers ian |
