In Concord's "British Tanks of WWII (1)" there is a clear photo of "Elusive" (T23?57), a tank belonging to the 5th RTR, 22nd Armoured Brigade, swamped on a Normandy beach. Also in this book is a colour illustration of "Calamity Jane II", a tank of the 22nd Armoured Brigade, 7th Armoured Division. AFV Club have messed up the kit markings for the two British tanks, missing them up. This is probably a printing error in the instructions. Just swap the front views for option E and F and they markings will match the two tanks I described above.

In the recent "Modelling the Ms/M5 Stuart Light Tank" by Steven Zaloga the AFV Club M3A3 is described in detail. There is some detail added to the exterior but no interior detailing. The kit is finished as a French vehicle.

If the Ian Allan "Tanks in Detail" booklet on the M3 is as useful as their M5 one then get that.

I have an old Bellona Print with and interior cross-section of the M3A3 that is quite useful.

Paul.
