After WW II the Army made new sprockets for M18s and M39s that allowed them to run the same tracks as M24s. It looks like they machined off the M18 sprocket rings from the hubs and welded modified M24 rings in their place. (The ID of sprocket rings was enlarged to the same as the opening on the M18 hubs. There are no bolt holes on the new hubs.) If you try this, check the width of the assembled sprocket with the M24 tracks.
