Subject:  T-34-based SU- series casement dimensions?List thread.

G'day, all,

Comparison of plans I have collected from Web sources suggests that the essential dimensions/geometry of the casement of the SU- series SPGs based on the T-34 chassis (-122, -85, -85M, -100) remained consistent across the series, with the notable difference in the forward "kink" of the two earlier iterations.

Can someone confirm (or correct) this finding?

The comparative exercise was motivated on discovering that the casement height of the Tamiya offerings were approx .2 mm lower than those of Dragon?DML.

TIA & best,
SJK
