Hi SJ,

no, there was no false floor. All steering and braking linkages ran along the floor to the rear bulkhead, only protected by the ammunition boxes.
I have never seen diamond tread plate on any T-34, I think Jaguar simply made that up :). See a real T-34 floor at http://www.thetankmaster.com/ENGLISH/AFV/t34-76_1.asp
