G'day,

Has there been comment on what appears to be an inaccurate cross-section of the Dragon/DML spring boxes for T-34 hulls--or is it just me?

Numbering the full-height boxes 1-4 from front to back, the kit's distinctly rectangular rendition appears to be bsaed on no. 3 in the engine bay; the others have a more squarish section. A reference image for this observation is at:

http://www.thetankmaster.com/IMAGES/AFV/sniper/T34_SNIPER21.jpg

This section has been carried over in the Trumpeter kit as far as I can tell.

Obviously, this discrepancy, if it is one, is moot for closed-top T-34-based types, and is somewhat obscured in the tank interior by the false side walls for open-hatch builds. For an open-hatch SU-100 (where there is no such paneling), I'm trying to decide whether it makes a difference.

Comments welcome.

Best,
SJK
