Mark: I was just replying to the first line of the first message:
"Has there been comment on what appears to be an inaccurate cross-section of the Dragon/DML spring boxes for T-34 hulls--or is it just me?"
Not your posts.
The word "inaccurate" is quite loaded in modeling. If'n it was me, and I was looking at things in the context of a start for an interior scratchbuild, I might've said something like, "Are the spring boxes close enough to the real dimensions to be left as is?" Regardless of whether the answer was yes or no, there is no reason to characterize this as an "inaccuracy" any more than it would be to characterize the thickness of the hull plates as inaccurate. It's just a production decision on a hidden part.
Cheers,
