As others have said, while the Katyusha did exist, the ZiS-151 variant did not during WWII.
Options: 1.) Cross kit with a ZiS-5. Or, there is already a ZiS-5 based kit out there, from Zvesda, with the Italeri rocket portion.
2.) Cross kit with the excellent CMK Studebaker kit.
3.) Cross kit with the Italeri GMC, as already noted.
4.) Use the Real Models (IIRC) WWII International conversion. Although the conversion calls for the Zvesda ZiS-151 kit, I believe it will work on the Katyusha kit.
Note: I believe all these conversion will require a different sets of rear wheel well covers as I don't think the pattern in the kit was ever used in WWII. All the WWII ones I have seen are more rounded over the tires. |
