I have the following sources:

- Allied/Axis #9 (Mostly photos of (VI) Ziu - Warzawa August 1944,
and (III)Odin - Brest 1942, Mostly Photos

- Spielberger Spezial Panzer Text + Photos as above + (I) Adam 1942 +
Railway mounted Adam (I) or Eva (II). Some of the text is outdated.

- Heavy German Mortars, Shiffer. Pretty much as above.
Little usefull text

- Polygon 2/2002 (In Russian) - thanks to mr. Kazutaka Yokota.
Serveral photos of captured Thor (IV) taken propably spring 1945
right after capture and Ziu/Adam? (VI) at Kubinka around 1946/47.
The one showing the captured Adam/Ziu at one of the last pages in
the Jentz book is from the same series of photos, however more
clear than the ones from Polygon (note the different distinct camo
on the gun and gun-barrel from the earlier photos taken of Ziu in
1944.

Jentz book is probably not correct regarding some of the barrel
changes? Obviously Thor (IV) for example, was set up as a Gerät 040
in end. (look at the photo in the prevuious posting). I am not sure
but the Versuchsgerät (VII) - Fenrir must have received the 54 cm
barrel from Gun I (at least)for some time...

- Jentz Karl - Bertha's big brother. Quite good. as above + a few
very good pictures of Loki (V) as both Gerät 040 and 041, Thor as
Gerät 040 and 041. and the US captured/destroyed Loki (V), Eva (II)
and caltures Fenrir? ( VII) The book needs to be read
carefully in order to put the information in the right order.

- Translated the history pages as
http://geraet040.web.infoseek.co.jp/karl_top.html
Very good Japanese WEB pages on Karl gerät dedicated to verious
model kits, aftermarket kits etc on the Karl Gerät. Also a quite
comprehencive list of literature and a brief history.
look in the Fate section. Also veru usefull is the sectio on
differences of each vehicle.

- Found a few pictures on the Internet probably taken on departure
of one the vehicles (III-VI) to Russia around 1942/43

- Found serveral more recent pictures of Ziu/Adam? at Kubinka
at several sources including Kubinka's homepages.
Note that the vehicle is named Adam!! and not Ziu. Also the older
pictures taken around 1946/47 seem to have the name Adam of the left
side (it has been removed on the right side)

I tried to put all the information on these sources in a timeline
and wrote it down. Neither of the sources (including the Jentz book) seem to be correct?, however the Jentz book is not bad, and definately the most updated one....

I still miss some pictures of the captured Karl at Aberdeen, which I do believe exist (It will be nice if someone will e-mail them to me....)
