Hello guys,
Recently I've visited the duch war and resistance museum in Overloon. I knew they where working on a Panther tank and I wanted to take a look at the results. These are a few pictures from their Panther tank.
I was a quite shocked by the paint job they gave it. From my point of view this has nothing to do with accurately rebuilding a vehicle. How do you guys feel about this?
Some background info on the tank:
In october 1944 the panther was hit by a anti-tank grenade in the town of Overloon. The tank belonged to the 107 german panzerbrigade.(source: de stamboom van een museum; jan w.v. van lieshout) The original colour of the vehicle was dark yellow without any camo pattern. Originally no zimmerit was applied.
