I can lend you my copy; you're in Canada right?
I had a look at it this morning and the plan does show the screw locations and a weld bead? joining the plates together, as it appears the top plate is two parts.
I looked in the new Polish Armour Photo gallery book and there are a couple of photos that show these screws. They are difficult to see as they are countersunk and painted over. They do not appear in the plans in that book either.
