| They were originally painted mid bronze green. Red was used only for internal extinguishers such as the built-in ones in a Sherman. Whether the methyl bromide ones might have been repainted SCC15 (or whatever) later I cannot say but if they had stencilled data on them like most extinguishers, I would suspect not. |
