Dave,

As far as my references go the only models of the Sherman that were outfitted as 105 tanks were the M4A3 (Ford engine) and M4 (radial engine). All of these were 1944 and later thus having the 47 degree hull with large crew hatches. This does not however mean that there can't be field mods since the turret ring is the same on all Shermans. The problem would be internal storage of the ammunition.
