I am just putting together a Panzer III L by Tamiya. Question is what is the difference of the front armour plate, there are 2 types. A and B. One has the top open with brackets and the other is covered with a plate over the drivers side. Is this a field change, or factory change and from what time frame? This will help in the final built up of the kit. I looked all over the net and can't find any top view of a panzer III L to confirm the date.
