| Hi all , I picked up the following book at War and Peace show Waldemar Trojca No 13 all about the KV 1 and 2 . I noticed on pages 22 and 24 there is a strange to me version of the KV 1 . It has a armoured barbarette fitted to the front armour with a flame thrower armoured housing fitted inside it . It has KV 2 wheels and the additional hull armour protrudes up above the hull line and the front of the turret has 3 additional pieces of armoured plate either side of the gun trunions . Anyone else seen any more photos and any clues to its designation . I have all ready built it and am ready to start on the tracks and wheels as soon as I get a second KV 2 kit this weekend at MAFVA Nationals . This is if they do not sell out before I get there . cheers ian |
