Hi Martin,

Sherman used in the desert campaigns by the British forces were the M4, M4A1 and M4A2 type, most of them early or intermediate type.

In modellers terms, this means small hatches, and no 76mm or 17pdr guns.
Useable kits would be the Dragon M4A1 (though a replacement direct vision hull is needed), the Tamiya M4 (again, replace the hull. For the M4A2, you need to replace both turret and hull.

a better route would be to tell us what you want to build, or what the kits are you want to use. Just Sherman is too wide a subject.
