There's an M4A1 at the Missing Links site www.missing-lynx.com
At www.twenot-forums.nl, we have a Forum Online Contest, which deals with desert warfare. You might get some tips there as well.
Sherman like great, that's true. However, if you're fairly new to the hobby, a direct vision Sherman might not be an ideal subject. It means you have to get an aftermarket resin set, and these are usually not for beginner. I have some sets myself, and find them intimidating in places. My suggestion is you use a Stuart. It looks like a Sherman (well, a little bit anyway ...), has similar colour schemes, and is available as a plastic kit from Academy. I dont know the catalogue number. But the kit should be available from most good stockists.
Hope this helps. If you have more questions, feel free to post them,
Cheers, MD |
