Chris...the photographs on p144 of Mark Hayward's book were taken after the war's end in Europe. They are New Zealand vehicles that were training in Egypt for possible deployment to the Far East, which never actually occurred.

Certainly a valid modelling opportunity, but bear in mind it's a training scenario, not a combat scenario.
