I know this is a somewhat redundant topic, but....I have a Pz IV D (DAK) that I have been working on...I have been going through some of my reference materials and one thing that came to my attention was that that later Pz IV Ds had a solid one piece back plate unlike the earlier ones (attached image; hope it's ok that I used it) which had two pieces on the back...I know it may seem real dumb, but any images that I have don't show the turret completely (because of the stowage bin)and I'd like to make it as accurate as I can...So I would like to know if I can get away with the early turret, or do I need to try to correct the turret or replace it (like with an AM turret(?))...
