Kurt,

I was with the Sherman again this weekend (Memorial weekend 2006) at an airshow/military show at the Red Wing airport on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border. Very hot Sunday, 100 degrees (that was tough wearing winter tanker bibs). The owners want to try and trace the lineage of the vehicle. Could you help? What do I need to look for as far as casting numbers, stampings and so forth?

Even though it was real hot this weekend it was a great opportunity for me. I got to even drive the Sherman this weekend. Not too many Tiger fans out that could ever make that claim.
