The tower on the turret shows in the kit the same general layout as the base Chi-Ha kit. After going back and checking references it appears that the cupola or tower did not have a hatch but just the periscope. I filled in the scribined line with Squadron Green putty, the seam with cyanacrlic glue and shaved off the hinges. This photo shows before and after.
