Chapter 6: The biker
Here is the biker's head. The face was undercoated in acrylic 'peach flesh' color from Apple Barrel. I used a mix of Titanium White, Burnt Sienna and Burnt Umber (oils) for the flesh color. The eyes were done with a dot of dark blue oil. All the highlights were done with a whitened flesh mix, and shadowed with a flesh mix heavy on the umber and sienna. The colors are slightly less harsh in real life. And remember, this is a 1/35 scale head, about the size of a pea. The photo is a big time zoom! |
