Chapter 5 - Upper Hull Shape
Here's the final upper hull shape. The basics are all here, but the details still need to be added. This stage involved widening the hull rear a shade, taking out the turret ring (in order to move it back .170") removing the drivers plate area and moving it back almost 3/8" and adding the hull ball MG mount. There was also some subtle reshaping of the sides of the hull and of the rear overhang area.
About 4 different applications of epoxy putty were needed to get to this stage, but I'm pretty happy with the result. |
