Tail Lights

It's been a while since I added anything to the BLOG, been sidetracked with other projects. That's what keeps me interested in the hobby, but it takes me a while to actually finish anything. Here we see how MV lenses were used for the taillights. MV makes green, red and clear lights. To get the amber colored light I used a clear MV lens and carefully painted Tamiya clear orange over the lens. Also note in this picture the excellent results of the mufflers using the now extinct Eduard screens. At this point the tow cable is yet to be attached. I hand painted the ' I ' on the license plate using Vallejo paints.
