Chapter 1 - Some of the Bits
This photo shows the state of the project at this point:
A- the new solid sprocket face
B- the horizontal shock absorber with oil resevoir for the suspension
C - modifications to the idler mount
D - the back face of the idler, releaved on the lathe for a better appearance
E - main road wheel with a new tire mated to an Aurora hub turned down on the lathe.
I would also show the main suspension unit, however its currently in rubber to recast a couple of components. It will eventually have a lot of extra detail, thinned down proportions (those Aurora guys were hell for thick sections) and new springs to go with the shocks. |
