Michael,

As you'll see in this blog, I'm going to end up using very little of the Dragon Kit. The bulk of the parts will actually be from the Legend conversion set.

I will say that the Dragon M4A2(76) VVSS Red Army and its sister kit the M4A3(76) VVSS Battle of the Bulge are excellent kits right out of the box. If they represent the Sherman variant you want to build, then buy either of these kits without reservation.

Similarily, the Academy M4A2 U.S Marines is also a great kit if you want to make a Marine Sherman but you'll need aftermarket tracks since Academy gives you the Rubber Chevron tracks which I don't believe we're used by the Marines. I plan to use the Academy tracks on my Dragon M4A3(76) BoB. :)
