Here are some of the references I am using. I'll update this list with notes pointing out the most useful photographs, plans, etc. in each as I proceed.

"Panzer Tracts No.4 Panzerkampfwagon IV" Thomas L. Jentz. Darlington Pub. 1997. - Renown for containing the most accurate set of plans of the Panzer IV series. Drawn by Hillary Doyle.

"Panzer IV & Its Variants" Walter Spielberger. Shiffer. 1993. - Contains several good illustrations of the early Panzer IV, specifically the turret internals of the Ausf. E.

Various - There are a series of well known photographs of tank "800" of the 15th Pz. Div. DAK that was captured and evaluated by the British. Many of these photographs are reproduced in several inexpensive booklets. Squadron's "Panzer IV in Action" is one example.

Personal photograph collection - I have hundreds of photographs of the Bovington and Aberdeen Panzer IVs. There where useful in evaluating this kit.

Also the two Achtung Panzer books, a few Ground Power books and the Tanks in detail volume.
