Hi all. Thankyou for the very polite post over at Armorama.com Brian. I'm no expert on the Panzer IV, and have never professed to be, however, following the instructions supplied in the kit I was actually left with no gap at the bottom. That is the reason I didn't mention it in the build feature. What you thought you saw on the pictures is there because I have yet to cement the deck to the lower hull. With VERY slight pressure it disappears, and will do so completely when cemented. The drivers vision port is not upside down either.....I removed the two small lugs on it to facilitate painting, and so it's down unitl I paint it. They were fair questions....but the inference that I was favouring DML somehow was totally unjustified. I just happen to think it's a really great kit! Don't you?
