The Parts

I decided to start this blog with an overview of the parts for the Nashorn. Pictured are all the sprues and various little bits that come in the box.

You get 9 sprues of nice flash free gray plastic, a fret of PE, some one piece DS100 tracks, a very inclusive decal sheet, and some pre-formed wire for the extra roadwheel brackets. There are markings for 7 vehicles ranging from winter camo to various three and two tone jobs. Decals are done by Cartograf and it has been my experience in working with these they react well to setting solutions and are in register. You will end up with quite a few tactical numbers for your spares box once you are finished with this kit.

The instructions are line drawing style and comprise 8 steps, starting with the lower hull and running gear.

This is where we will pick up with Chapter 2.
