Chapter 12 - Fighting Compartment Part 3
This is just a pic to show the final stage of the fighting compartment before glue is put to plastic. The main purpose of this is simply to show why I built the fighting compartment off the hull as opposed to how Dragon suggests it be done. As you can see it will be much easier to align and attach this way rather than one panel at a time.
You can see the fighting compartment is mostly complete, but I have left off the fiddly bits until later.
You can't see in this pic, but I've also finished the PE and decided to use those rather than the plastic intake grills.
The fighting compartment itself was given the same weathering treatment as the interior as a start and here is the last dry fit. |
