Youch, there is way too much space between the idler wheel and the front fenders. Either they are two long front to back or the idler arm is mispositioned (or both). Check your photo references.
Also, consider that the single biggest improvement you can make on any T-34 model is to add real metal screens to the engine deck. Aber and Eduard sell these as mini-sets, if you want to add them. Underneath would be two tranverse slats that are hinged to allow varying amounts of air to flow through.
