Hello!
Yes, I know that site, a very good, and very detailed site about the trains, if a bit messy :)
The locomotive you are building is "also" the correct one.
The one I am building is the one the train had from 1918 to sometime in 1919.

Then it changed locomotives a few times, and in the mid 1920s was replaced with the Ti3 (that you are building.) And that is the engine that it went to war with in 1939.
So we are both right :)
I am also interested in your progress, I have been wanting to see the 5-Star models in real life for a long time, and IF I pul this project of, the 1939 Smialy will be my next model.
so, show some pictures when you can! :)
I have begun some basic construction, and will upload a chapter of it on tuesday, if not monday. (Pending an order of tracks and wagon...) |
