Ian, I don't know what the Voyager fenders are like but the Aber fenders are constructed much like the real thing. I frame to which the treadplate panels are bolted (well... glued). I did cut off the Tristar sponson bottoms (wings), yes.

The next chapter will be "Cleaning the hull" which is about filling and cleaning the joins and adding missing weld beads. The next chapter is then about the fenders.
