Lots of updates in the pipe now

Ok, I was a little bit off in that last post. The Verlinden set gives you an M3 Medium engine brace, not a Sherman brace. But I digress....

After the tech manuals arrived, I ended up opting to keep the Verlinden engine, and scratch-build the rest of the engine compartment, with a couple parts borrowed from other sets. The Legend engine compartment looks very close to accurate, and is much better than the Verlinden, but I wouldn't be able to use all that great detail as you will see in later chapters.

As far as I can see the Legend set only has a couple minor issues in the engine compartment. The exhaust manifold is all wrong, and it's missing a couple small but prominant sections of the wiring. But as I have been seeing, nobody's gotten the drivers compartment right yet. In fact, nobody is anywhere near correct on it. It's turning into a lot of labor, and a huge pile of scratch-building, but I'm doing my best to get the front cab as close to accurate as my skills can provide.

You'll see it all soon enough though.
