I have to admit, those bolt heads/holes are pretty darned hard to see in most cases. I know they are there, but i've honestly never seen a period photo in service that I can clearly see what's there. This was my best guess, going from TM photos. But I do have to do an order from Grandt Line, so perhaps I'll put some bolt heads there :-)

You are also correct that some M12's had the more common late type that us Sherman guys are so used to, with the big foreward extension. I haven't quite decided which specific vehicle I will be doing, but I've narrowed it down all to vehicles that have the style shown in the chapter, which also seems to be the most common for M12's.

Things are going to be slowing down for a bit, as I had a pair of VERY high priority projects taking up my time, one of which I'm about to start the intro for a blog of. But I'm going to be back to the M12 shortly, the engine compartment is as much of an adventure as the drivers one. More wiring and plumbing, horray!
