This shot shows a built up suspension, but without the wheels. I cut away the axles, and will fit Evergreen rod to the wheels.
This way, I can paint them separately from the unit. This was not actually planned, but mainly due to me not paying attention when starting this. I was working at a pool, supervising. It was a quiet week, so I took some model with me to build. But while having cut all bits from the sprues and gluing them together, I mounted the spoked wheels. Arrgh!
I had to cut off the wheels, so this is the result. Bad case not obeying to the 'five P rule'. |
