James,

I hate to put a bee in your bonnet but just changing the rear plate on the lower hull isn't exactly to accurate. What you have done is add a M4 rear plate to an M4A2 lower hull. The access panels on the lower hull are for the twin engine diesel engine. The air cooled radial engine on the M4 had one large panel. Also the suspension brace runs all the way across the bottom on the radial engine Sherman and isn't broken up by the access panels like the M4A2, M4A3 and M4A4. Be careful with your weld lines on the rear hull also. I noticed that you added a weld bead along the top of the rear panel on your M4A4 Firefly. This panel is removable and not welded at the rear.

Best thing about this conversion is that the cast driver's/assistant's hoods are of the correct type.


You are unbelievable how quickly you churn out high quality models.
