Mark,
The references and Pics I have show the weld beads to be much more restrained than on the larger German tanks. I have also built the 1/48 Hetzer and I think the weld beads looked pretty good on that kit. I think you are on the right track with what you have done, but probably don't have a whole lot more to do??
Keep up the good work. Any chance you could get closer close ups with your digicam?
