As you know I am my third Rover and have tried that radiator mounting both ways. I wish that the folks at AA had spent a bit more time designing that trapazoidal lug at the bottom of the Radiator and its corresponding socket in the frame. They are just too sloppy and you can really get things out of line. I will say that with the 110 AA has done a good turn by putting those pins on the sides of the radiator and the mating holes in the sides of the wings. Before that little Idea you were all over the place trying to get the body and the frame aligned nice and squarely. Otherwise it looks like things are progressing nicely albeit with a good deal of consternation. The air bubble thing can be a bit hit-and-miss with AA. I have found that if the offense is too egregious, Derek and the boys will send along a replacement part.

As always, good luck with the project. I am sure that AA would be interested to watch your build and listen to your criticisms to improve this series of Rover kits.

Off subject: have you seen the Range Rover Versus tank video that is quite the rage all over the internet these days? It's fun... Google it and have a laugh.

Way off subject: My nephew was in the 1st Armoured Division in Baghdad and he and his guys traded some Kippers for a couple of Rovers back in 2003 ( I think the Brits fell for his charming midwestern smile) and he got the bug and now owns one of those money drains himself (just like is gullible uncle!) He liked them on the narrow streets before IEDs became all the rage with the other side...then HUMVEES with as much armor as possible became more desirable.

Mike
