This shows the final painting with the periscope head faces painted Vallejo black. The detail on the TMD periscopes are the best available that I have seen. All the correct parts are there that enables you to paint them correctly (there are also knobs on the side that are painted black). The X-Acto knife is pointing out the securing knobs that need to be glue onto the rear slot of the periscope holder once the periscope is in place. It should also be painted black
