I coated the parts with a new bottle of PollyScale flat. This gave nothing but problems. Apparently they are using the same formula as Testors which also frosts badly. This is a product that at one time was excellent and now is nothing but trouble. I contacted PollyScale and they offered to replace the bottle. Problem is that I have several bottles and they all reacted the same. So it isn't a poor bottle of paint but a poor product. I tried different thinners, air pressure and types of application (misting, heavy coat). Nothing worked. I saved the parts by coating them with Future and than coating with a 50/50 mixture of Tamiya Clear and Flat Base.
