Happy New Year and welcome to the Accurate Armour & Track-Link British vehicle modelling Theme and Contest. We are pleased to be the sponsor of this new 2005 theme.
The prize will be a choice of one of the following complete kits from our British vehicle ranges:
Comet Heavy Cruiser
Valentine 17 Pdr SP (Archer)
Centurion Gun Tank Mk-5
Conqueror Heavy Gun Tank Mk-1
As far as eligable subjects go any British vehicle, armoured or otherwise, from any time period are good. Vehicles not manufactured in the UK are OK as long as they are in British markings. British designed or manufactured vehicles are OK and can be used by anyone, even Axis. Providing that the vehicle retains the original engine and has only minor modifications (radios, lights, tools, mounted MG and stowage). For example:
Shermans in British markings are OK.
German Bedfords are OK.
Dutch Centurions are OK
Russian Valentines and Tetrarchs are OK.
"Cuckoo" the Panther is OK!
Iranian Chieftains are OK.
Israeli Centurions (meteor engined) are OK, all others not.
Anyone may enter as many times as they like. To enter simply upload a set of photographs of your model using the Track-Link content tools available when you log in. Photograph quality must meet the minimum quality guidelines: http://www.track-link.net/gallery/guide Entries that are published in January, February and March of 2005 are eligable.
