The next contest theme will be The Eastern Front, 1941-1945. This will be in honour of Bob Lessels who passed away recently. Bob was a big fan of Eastern Front modelling and this web-site so this seems like a fitting tribute. Steve Nine will be providing a eulogy when the contest begins and has offered to select the winning entry. The prize will be a $200 (Canadian) credit at Blast Models, I am volunteering this from their advertising fee.
Suitable entries are anything that was used by any country on the Eastern Front from June 22, 1941 until May 8, 1945. All model types, figures and dioramas are good too. Obviously these have to be AFV-related and not ships or aeroplanes; Bob was an armour modeller after all. Entries should be added using the content management tools or just emailed directly too me. This contest will start around May first and so for three months.
To remember Bob it would be nice to include a few words in the write-up about your friendship with Bob.
