The current modelling contest is the Eastern Front WW2. It is open to anyone who would like to submit a model, figure or diorama of a land subject (no planes) that was used from June 22 1941 up until the end of WW2 (in Europe, May 8, 1945). This includes any participant operating on any Eastern Front theatre. Your model should be obviously Eastern Front-ish, that is something like one of the initial Tigers used at Lenningrad, etc.
This contest is dedicated to Bob Lessels who recently passed away. Bob was fond of Eastern Front modelling. Steve Nine has prepared a eulogy for Bob ( http://www.track-link.net/forum/news_general/9604 ). Steve has also volunteered to judge this contest. If anyone who is entering knew Bob then it would be great if you could add a few words about Bob in your entry.
The contest is sponsored by Blast Models. A $200 CND credit is available to the winner(s). To be spilt up as Steve sees fit. This is funded from my advertising budget, so thanks to Blast and the other advertisers.
