Paul,

The 'Chicago style voting' is really a joke. For years there have been allegations that public officials have been voted in under shady circumstances. You are suppose to only vote once for public officials and that is where the joke 'vote early and vote often' came from. There is also a joke about corrupt voting in Chicago about that even being dead doesn't stop someone from casting a vote. Of course I can not confirm any of this except as urban rumor. With out seeing someone face-to-face the tongue-in-cheek smirk on the face joke looses something sometimes.
